How To Use A Red Light Therapy Panel For The First Time

Five things to know before the first photon lands.

Light intensity falls off fast with distance. A panel delivering roughly 160 mW/cm² at 6 inches delivers a fraction of that a few feet back. Standing too far away is the number-one reason home users under-dose without ever knowing it — the light still looks bright, but the energy landing on your skin isn't enough to drive a response. Photobiomodulation follows a biphasic dose-response: benefit rises with dose, peaks, then declines if you keep going.
